Best Swimwear and Bikini Trends for Summer
You may think it’s a little early for swimwear, but with the rise of the winter sun getaway, the four day Easter break coming up and a whole summer of festivals and beach holidays to look forward to, I’ve teamed up with Figleaves.com to give you a little heads up on some of this seasons top swimwear trends and show you my favourite pieces from the new collection.
Through my travels and also on the catwalks at Fashion Week I’ve seen some really exciting poolside styles coming through. From marble prints through to cut out swimwear, here’s my Style Traveller edit of the Best swimwear and bikini trends for summer.

How MarBellous!
One of the biggest trends this season and not just in swimwear, but in lifestyle and interiors too is ‘marble’. Whether you’re choosing a marble print case for your laptop and i-phone or decking out your house in the beautiful stone to make it flatlay ready for insta, there’s no doubt marble is rocking this season (excuse the pun :)

Playing Around
Ditch the floaty dresses and cut offs, to stay really on trend by the pool, jump into a playsuit. The shortened or ‘shorts’ version of a jumpsuit, this versatile little number will take you from beach side to bar with ease.

The One
For a few seasons now the good old one-piece has been making a come back and this summer is no exception. But far from its original frumpy connotations, these one-pieces have been sexed up. Go retro glam with an asymmetric shoulder and sheer panels like this Icon Capri one shoulder swimsuit by Figleaves.

Go Graphic and Go Global
Graphic prints are a perennial trend, so go bold and geometric this season. And keep the look eclectic by mixing trends. This boho pom pom sarong is the perfect cover up to add an ethnic touch to your swimwear look.

Sports Luxe and Colour Pop

Such beautiful looks, my dear! I especially love the Capri one shoulder suit and also the bikini by Calvin Klein. The colors are so vivid and I know their pieces will stand the test of time. I love these trends so much, and you look fab in them all! I wish I could rock them myself but am currently pregnant and feeling massive so think it might be a while before I show off my swimwear.

With that hot body you nailed it with all the swimsuit. I love the white jumpsuit, look pretty fun and cute. I also like how the white jumpsuit has some see through effect which make the whole appearance more sexy! Another piece that I love is the graphic print with black and white! I wish to have that piece for my summer vacation!

I love playsuits and rompers so much! They are really comfy and can be worn as a cover-up and as your regular outfit for after the pool, too.
