London Fashion Week Round Up

Where? London, UK.

Exactly? London Fashion Week SS16 season

Why?  After a hectic few days at New York Fashion Week I’m back in my home town of London to check out some of the shows at one of the world’s most creative fashion weeks. The main hub of this seasons London Fashion Week was based at Brewer Street in the centre of bustling Soho. With hundreds of shows, presentations and parties over the five day event, it’s sometimes difficult to choose which shows to go to.

It was a fantastically exciting and inspirational week. Here’s my Style Traveller London Fashion Week Round Up featuring my highlights from the best parties, shows and the outfits I wore…

After the Julien McDonald show the party started, the disco lights came on, champagne carried on flowing and the tunes got louder. Pretty cool considering it was 1pm in the afternoon!

Day 2: the highlight of the day was the super fun Valentino Party on Sloane Street. The gorgeous sorbet colours of the new store provided the perfect backdrop for some photos and a great venue for a fun party.

The highlight of day 4 was the incredible Burberry show. Full of military, pyjama and trench coat references, this was my favourite show of the week.

  1. I always find it interesting how high fashion or runway shows feature clothes that most people wouldn’t wear. Yes, they look cool for the show but has anyone seen anyone dressed like that in real life?

  2. OMG I want your life!! I have life and wardrobe envy and I am not ashamed to admit it! I love the dress you wore to the Valentino party but the white trouser suit is amazing too! #lifegoals right here!

  3. It’s awesome that you got to see both the NYFW and the London Fashion Week. I really like the trends that are waiting for us, they’re all so wearable and comfy. I am not huge on fashion but I like it when I see clothes that I can definitely wear.

  4. I really liked the blue lace dress the model is wearing with fishnets. Look closer at the catwalk shot of the girl in the stilettos – look at the angle of her heel! I don’t know how it didn’t snap!!
